Step 1: Unboxing & Initial Setup

When you receive your TreZor® device, ensure the package is sealed and untampered. Carefully unpack the wallet and check for the recovery card, USB cable, and device itself.

Start by connecting the device to your computer or mobile using the provided cable. Visit TreZor Start to launch the official setup wizard. This ensures your wallet is genuine and ready for secure initialization.

                Tip: Always verify the device screen shows the TreZor® logo before proceeding. Never skip this step for your safety.
            

Step 2: Backup & Recovery

After setup, your TreZor® will display a unique 12–24 word recovery seed. This seed is your lifeline to restore your wallet if the device is lost or stolen.

Write down each word in the correct order on the provided recovery card. Do not store it digitally or online. Treat it like a highly sensitive secret key to your wealth.

                Security Reminder: Never share your recovery seed. TreZor® staff or official support will never ask for it.
            

Step 3: Setting Up a PIN & Passphrase

Choose a strong PIN directly on the device. TreZor® devices use randomized keypads, which prevents keylogging attacks. You can also set an optional passphrase for added security — effectively creating a “hidden wallet” within your TreZor®.

Use at least 6–8 digits for your PIN.
Combine numbers with a memorable pattern.
Consider enabling a passphrase for extra layer protection.

With these layers, your wallet is secured against both digital and physical threats.

Step 4: Managing Your Cryptocurrency

Once setup is complete, you can send and receive cryptocurrencies through TreZor® Wallet. It supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and over 1,000 altcoins.

Use the TreZor® web wallet interface or connect via trusted mobile apps. Always verify the receiving addresses on your device screen to prevent phishing attacks.

Open the TreZor® Wallet on your device.
Select the cryptocurrency you want to send or receive.
Confirm transactions on the device screen only.
